Book orders still ship to the US duty free: Thank goodness! Books are exempt from the newest US tariffs on imported goods from the EU. The 15% tariff applied to most goods originating in the EU will not apply to informational material, including books and printed matter. While our books will continue to ship to the US tariff/duty free, please be aware that packages will need to go through a more formal process to clear US customs due to suspension of the $800 de minimis exemption for imported goods (going into effect on August 30, 2025). These lower value packages will no longer enter on a fast track. All of our shipments are handled by UPS from our door to yours. They expect to keep to anticipated delivery times. Nevertheless, be prepared for delays. This notice is updated at least weekly (15 August 2025).
